Library Closed Starting 3/18/20

The Albert Lea Public Library has made the health and safety of our library staff, our patrons, and our community a priority. We will continue to follow directions from state and local health officials in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Starting on March 18th, with direction from the City, the library is closed until April 15. During this period, there will be no fines on checked-out items. Lost fees on all material not returned will still be in effect.
How do I return library materials?
If you have library materials checked out during the time of closing, we ask that you hold onto them until we reopen. The book drop will not be available during this time. No overdue fines will be charged during this time.
What if I have an item on hold?
The library will hold your items until we reopen.
