Travel to Africa with Siama Matuzungidi as he plays guitar and other traditional instruments. You’ll be encouraged to sing along and listen to stories that bring Siama’s rural homeland to life. This video is only available until August 16, so don’t miss it!
This project is made possible with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund and the people of Minnesota for Library Legacy activities.
The Albert Lea Public Library has made the health and safety of our library staff, our patrons, and our community a priority. We will continue to follow directions from state and local health officials in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.

How do I return library materials?
All library materials must be returned in the book drop. The book drop will open each week on Monday at 9 am and close on Thursday at 6 pm. With guidance from the state, we are holding returned materials for 72 hours before returning them back to circulation. Fines will restart on August 1. If you cannot return your overdue materials, please call the library to renew your items.
