Children's Events & Programs

The Children’s Library is located on the 2nd floor of City Center on the east side (across from the Nonfiction Library). The Children’s Library has many toys, puppets, a puppet stage and eight computers with internet access in addition to the collection of materials.

Live Eagle Program

Sunday, Feb. 23 at 2 & 3 PM

The National Eagle Center in Wabasha, MN will present about eagle biology, ecology, natural history and cultural connections. This program features a live eagle ambassador. Shows at 2 and 3 pm. Seating is limited. 

This project is made possible with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund and the people of Minnesota for Library Legacy activities. 

Dr. Seuss’ Birthday Party

Sun., Mar. 1 at 2 p.m.

Come and help us celebrate the birthday of Dr. Seuss! Fun, games, stories and a craft. 

Family Night: Painting

Mon., Mar. 2 at 5:30 p.m.

Families are invited to come spend a creative night with us painting.
