The library has computers available for use by the public. Patrons can use the computer for 90 minutes per day. Albert Lea card holders can log in to the computer with their library card number and pin. Individuals in Albert Lea for the day can receive a guest pass to use the computer.
There are 10 computers in the Information Library available for use by patrons 16 years old and above. The Children’s Library has 8 computers. The Teen Area on the 3rd floor has 2 computers.
Black and white printouts from the computers are $0.15 per page.
The library has free Wi-Fi internet available throughout City Hall.
The library has a black and white photocopier available for the public in the Information Library. Each photocopy costs $0.15.
Projector for Rent
The library has a video projector available for check-out for professional use (meetings, presentations, etc.) by patrons. The check out period is 24 hours. The projector can be reserved in advance and will be held for two hours after the scheduled pick up time.
The projector is equipped with VGA, HDMI and USB connectors.
The library has color wireless printing available for patrons. Prints through this service are $0.25 per page. Prints can be sent from anywhere using the instructions below.
1). Send email with files you want to print.
Send an email from anywhere to firstname.lastname@example.org with file(s) you want to print added as attachments.
Most common file types will print: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, Photos and Email body text.
2). Get your release code.
You will receive an email with a release code that is good for 1 week.
3). Come to the 3rd floor desk in the Fiction Library.
Give release code to staff to collect prints. Copies may be paid for with cash or check.
