Public Computers

The Albert Lea Public Library has computers available for use by the public. Patrons can use the computer for 90 minutes per day. Albert Lea card holders can log in to the computer with their library card number and pin. Individuals in Albert Lea for the day can receive a guest pass to use the computer. Public computers have internet access and Microsoft Office software. 

The Albert Lea Public Library has 8 computers in the Information Library, 4 computers for children in the Children’s Library, and 2 computers reserved for teens in the Teen Space. 

Printing

Black and white printouts from the computers are $0.10 per page. Color printing is available using the remote printing option.

WiFi Access

The library has free Wi-Fi internet available throughout City Hall. 

Photocopies

The library has a photocopier available for the public. Photocopies are $0.10/page for black and white and $0.25/page for color. 

Projector for Rent

The library has a video projector available for check-out for professional use (meetings, presentations, etc.) by patrons. The check out period is 3 days. The projector can be reserved in advance using our online catalog.

The projector is equipped with VGA, HDMI and USB connectors.

Remote Printing

The library has color remote printing available for patrons. Printouts through this service are $0.10/page for black and white and $0.25/page for color. Prints can be sent from anywhere using the instructions below.

1). Send an email with the file(s) you want to print.

Send an email from anywhere to print@ricohprintcloud.com with file(s) you want to print added as attachments.

Most common file types will print:  Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint,  PDF,  Photos and Email body text.

2). Get your release code.

You will receive an email with a release code that is good for 1 week.

3). Go to the copy machine in the Information Library to release your prints.

Printouts must be paid for with cash. Credit cards are not accepted.
