StoryWalks® consist of a picture book spread out on signs along a trail or walking route. The Albert Lea Public Library and the Recreation Department are teaming up to bring StoryWalks® to locations around our area this summer to encourage families to spend time together outdoors while engaging with a story. Each StoryWalk® will have a new book.

July 13 to July 26 – Figure 8 at the Blazing Star Trail

• StoryWalk® starts on trail near parking area

July 27 to August 9 – White’s Woods Park, on Highway 69 about one mile south of Twin Lakes

August 10 to August 23 – Morin Lake in Alden

August 24 to September 7 – Itasca Rock Garden, 2129 Itasca Rd 

September 8 to September 20 – Frank Hall Park, 712 Frank Avenue
